Rockburn Farm is a family-owned and operated sheep and beef farm, proudly stewarded by the Chapman family since 1919. Now, fourth generation farmers, Evan and Clare—alongside their three daughters—continue the family legacy with passion and care.
Over the years, Rockburn has evolved from its beginnings with Drysdale sheep and breeding cows to focus on producing exceptional Wagyu beef and premium Lumina lamb. Every animal is raised with care, resulting in meat that’s not only high in quality but rich in flavour and character.
But Rockburn is more than just a farm — it’s a sanctuary for nature too. The property is home to several significant natural areas, including a habitat for New Zealand’s rare native long-tailed bats.
